Returns & Refunds – Ringside Cards (UK)

Summary

  • Change of mind: 14-day return window (UK distance-selling rules).
  • Not as described / wrong item / damaged: 30-day right to a full refund.
  • Who pays return postage? You (the buyer) for change-of-mind; we cover it for faults, damage or our error.
  • Refund timing: within 2 business days of the item arriving back with us.
  • eBay orders: must be returned via the eBay returns flow and follow the policy shown on the listing.

1) Change-of-mind returns (cooling-off)

  • Tell us within 14 calendar days of receiving your order that you’d like to cancel: [sales@ringsidecards.co.uk] (include order no.).
  • You then have 14 more days to send it back.
  • We’ll refund the item price plus the basic outbound postage you chose at checkout (extras like Special Delivery upgrades aren’t refunded).
  • Return postage is your responsibility. Please use a tracked service and keep the receipt.

Condition requirements (singles & slabs)

  • Return the card in the same condition you received it: in sleeve/toploader/team bag, or graded slab uncracked with any security/tamper label intact.
  • Cards must not be swapped, cleaned, pressed or altered.

2) Items that are faulty, damaged or not as described

  • Tell us within 30 days of delivery (48 hours for courier-damage claims) with clear photos of the card and packaging.
  • We’ll issue a pre-paid return label (or reimburse reasonable return postage) and provide a full refund once received, or a replacement if available.

3) What we don’t accept returns for

  • Sealed products once opened (boxes, packs) – if you ever stock these.
  • Subjective grading outcomes on raw cards (e.g., “didn’t grade a 10”). We sell raws as photographed—study images before buying.
  • Mystery/lot items (if offered) once opened.
    (Your statutory rights aren’t affected.)

4) Packaging & return address

  • Pack cards securely (sleeve + toploader + team bag + rigid mailer).
  • Include your order number and name inside the parcel.
  • Ship to: [Your Returns Address]. We’re not liable for returns lost in transit.

5) Refunds

  • Processed back to the original payment method within 2 business days of receipt (bank/card processing can take a few more days).
  • If a multi-item order is partially returned, outbound postage is refunded pro-rata where applicable.

6) Authenticity & accuracy

  • We guarantee authenticity of all cards. Serial numbers and slab certs are recorded before dispatch.
  • If anything’s wrong, we’ll make it right—repair, replace (if possible) or refund.

7) eBay purchases

  • For eBay orders, please start the return through My eBay → Returns so labels/tracking are generated correctly. The eBay listing may offer 30-day returns; that policy applies to that order.

Notes / Tips

  • Consider adding a tamper seal on graded slabs or team bags; state that broken seals void change-of-mind returns (but not faulty/“not as described” cases).
  • Put this policy link in your order emails and packing slip.
